Port Wine - Demystifying the category
Port is a complex wine category with a wide variety of styles, each of them unique. There are white and rosé styles - the more contemporary ones next to the traditional reds, and all of them are defined by intricate vine growing and winemaking techniques.
Sounds complicated? While it may well be, what a thrill to have so much to discover!Throughout this masterclass, led by Luís Fernanes of Symington Family Estates, we will dive into the Douro terroir to understand the climate, land and grape varieties as well as the secrets of making and ageing Port.
By the end of this masterclass, you will be able to talk with confidence about Port wine and the Douro appellation.
