    California stands as a global powerhouse in wine production. The state's diverse wine regions boast a range of climates and terrains, influenced by the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. Known for its fruit-forward, medium to full-bodied red wines, California's landscape is a captivating tapestry of natural beauty and viticultural excellence.

     

    This masterclass will be an opportunity for an in depth tasting and discussion about the regions, grapes, laws, production methods and sustainability practices of California. We will taste wines from classic traditional wineries and modern new comers. The class will be hosted by native Californian sommelier Rienne Bilz and offer a great chance to taste many high end California wines.
