Sherry in Jerez de la Frontera

Hey all,

I am planning another trip to Sevilla and Jerez de la Frontera for next year and I would love some recommendations. I have actually been briefly before and promised myself to come back. last time we were lucky enough to get a private tour of the Bodegas Tradicion, which I can only recommend to anyone passing through the region - the sherry is of exceptional quality and the Bodegas is also home to one of the biggest private art collections in Andalusia. An absolute must-see for art and wine lovers.

Now I am planning to go back for at least a week and explore the region even more. Any wineries I should visit? Does anyone have bars / wine shops / restaurant recommendations?

my not to be missed is Bodegas Fernandes Gao 1750 (and their Palo Cortado) in Jerez and Bar La Tabernita in Cadiz. Enjoy!

Happy to share! Cadiz is a gem, if you search for traditional tapas bars there, they will also have a broad selection of sherries and the local central market turns into a vivid sherry/street food venue every weekend..Enjoy!
